Camouflage Hug Me Slugs

I just finished two 12-inch camouflage fleece Hug Me Slugs. I will be putting my new handmade stuffed animal toys in our Ruffing’s shop. This 9-inch guy on the right is spoken for already.

These are slightly different color combinations, one more brown/tan/olive/black, and the other more in muted olive and taupe.

I finished a 9-inch dark royal blue Hug Me Slug with a bright light green heart as well.

I have to get a path cleared through my workroom, so the heating crew can get in tomorrow. We’re having a new system put in, since ours was getting on in years. I hope they can fit into the room with the toys piled everywhere.

12-inch Hug Me Bugs

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day. I finished four new 12-inch fleece Hug Me Bugs. I will be posting my new handmade stuffed animal toys in Our Ruffing’s shop.

Two are from the same soft rainbow blend. They each have pastel shades of lavender, pink, and yellow in them. I arranged the blend from lavender to yellow on each, but one with the lavender on the bottom, and one with it on the top. for variety.

Two are a soft mint green, one with a gold heart, and the other with a dark pink heart.

These are the first 12-inch versions of my Hug Me Bug that I’ve made.

My mom took some photos for me with the two Hug Me Bug sizes, to make it easier for people to figure out which size they’d prefer to hug.

Bugs, slugs, and a kitty

I will be putting my new handmade stuffed animal toys in our Ruffing’s shop. This afternoon, I have Hug Me Bugs, Hug Me Slugs, and one Hug Me Kitten sock kitten. This bug is posing in front of our blooming peach tree.

I counted the toys I had stuffed and stacked, which are waiting in my workroom for detailing, and I was surprised to come up with sixty-five! That doesn’t seem possible.

I have it in mind to aim for one hundred. I have no idea how long that will take me to do.

I feel like I work very slowly, but I’ve been plodding along steadily, I guess.

I sit in front of the television, watching random movies while I do my hand sewing, usually with a couple of cats nearby. Cats like crafts projects.

Today we opened our windows because it was so beautiful outside. So, the cats took turns at the open window and weren’t as interested in sitting right next to me today.

Green Hug Me Sock Toads

I just finished and posted two new Hug Me Sock Toads. I will be posting my new handmade stuffed animal toys in our Ruffing’s shop.

One has a lemon-yellow fleece heart, and the other, a red fleece heart.

They are both a grass green color. I wanted to make a couple of green animals for Saint Patrick’s Day.

We also posted a set of new original, one-of-of-a-kind ginger tabby dolls, Georgia and Gracie by Max Bailey.

I have a huge number of socks I need to make into animals or monsters! This is just a small sampling of some I pre-washed and left to dry outdoors today.
