Our Max Bailey line has included pen-and-ink and watercolor, and acrylic paintings, all done with a great deal of charm, and painted from the heart. Max Bailey limited and open edition prints have been very popular. Licenses have included needlework books for Leisure Arts. Max Bailey one-of-a-kind art dolls have been individually created in cloth and paperclay, and painted with acrylic paints. A doll is like a blank canvas, an exciting form of expression. Max Bailey dolls are truly one-of-a-kind original works of art, and are made from original designs. They are constructed in various combinations of fabric, papier mâché, and paper clay and are sculpted by hand.
These creations are filled with wit and whimsy. Careful attention to detail is a common thread. There’s no denying a great love for cats, dogs, bunnies, barnyard animals, and all of the world’s creatures. They are all innocents who delight in simple pleasures, and are pure of heart. Beneath their naïve expressions are intelligence, warmth, and humor. They were born yesterday, yet they have the wisdom of the ages.
