This is Dora. She’s a beautiful Persian kitten with blue eyes and a little pink nose.
Dora is wearing an ivory dress with pale lilac-blue sleeves, collar, and petticoat, all edged in gold.
Dora comes with a mahogany-stained dollhouse spindle cradle. Her mattress, pillow, and coverlet are gold, with delicate sprays of darker gold leaves. Dora loves to sleep in her cradle, where she has pretty kitty dreams.
Dora is a one-of-a-kind work of art, and is meant for display only.
She was sculpted from paperclay in multiple stages, to allow for drying and detailing.
Dora was painted under a magnifying light, with tiny brushes, one hair at a time.
She is signed and sealed with matte varnish for protection and preservation, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Dora and her cradle are 1:12 scale. (One inch equals one foot.)
Dora is 1 and 3/4 inches tall.
Update: Dora has been adopted. Thank you!
Dora’s friends are, from left to right, Talia the Abyssinian kitten, Roxanne the Himalayan kitten, Sarah the Maine Coon kitten, and Cinnamon the tabby kitten.
