Mirabelle is a handmade, original, one-of-a-kind Siamese Pixie Kitten cat art doll, hand painted and hand sculpted in paperclay by artist Anne Ruffing, with sewing done by Elizabeth Ruffing.
We’ve been looking for Mirabelle. She may have arrived where the end of the rainbow touched the ground, and it is possible that she is right in your garden.
Mirabelle is a Siamese Pixie Kitten, a winged little creature of folklore whose bright blue eyes twinkle with good will.
Her name means “of wondrous beauty.”
Her magical colorful wings resemble those of a butterfly and they can transfer her to anywhere she would like to be.
Mirabelle is fascinated by shiny things. She often borrows them, but never means to keep them.
Don’t be dismayed if you are missing a ring or maybe a necklace. When she recalls where she put them, she will bring them back to you.

Mirabelle is an original one-of-a-kind work of art, created from our own design and pattern.
She is made from 100% cotton fabric which has been sewn, stuffed, and completely hand painted with acrylic paints.
She is 8 and 1/2 inches tall. Seated, she is 5 and 1/2 inches tall.
Mirabelle’s arms and legs are button-jointed with antique-looking metal buttons of filigreed silver color.
Her face was sculpted from paperclay smoothed in thin layers into her fabric head.
Her front paws are needle sculpted, and her whiskers are made from stiffened thread.
Mirabelle’s curled tail enables her to sit by herself on a shelf or a table, or in a cabinet. She is meant for display only. She should be considered fragile and be handled with care.
Mirabelle’s delightful pink tutu was created from layers of tulle, with a hand-sewn waistband that snaps at the back and is decorated with a soft blue satin rose.
Her mystical wings are made from cotton fabric, and are completely hand-quilted.
Mirabelle’s bodysuit is painted in soft pink, with a band of flowers and leaves at the neckline, and on the cuffs.
Her ballet shoes are painted blue, with little white daisies.
Mirabelle is signed and sealed with matte varnish for protection and preservation. She comes with a certificate of authenticity.
