Astrid is a handmade miniature original, one-of-a-kind cat art doll, hand painted and hand sculpted in paperclay by artist Max Bailey.

This is Astrid. She’s a tabby angel kitten with a very important job.

Astrid is an accountant of sorts. She keeps a ledger in which she records all of the angel kittens’ good deeds.

Every time the good deeds number one hundred, Astrid makes a star. She throws the star up into the heavens where it will help to light the way of all the angel kittens looking for kind and helpful things to do.

Astrid’s robe is blue-green and looks just right with her gold star.

Astrid is a one-of-a-kind work of art, and is meant for display only. She was sculpted from paperclay in multiple stages, to allow for drying and detailing.

Astrid was painted under a magnifying light, with tiny brushes, one hair at a time. She is signed and sealed with matte varnish for protection and preservation,
and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Astrid is 1:12 scale. (One inch equals one foot.) She is 2 inches tall.

Leila, miniature Norwegian Forest angel tabby cat art doll, handmade original, one-of-a-kind kitten by artist Max Bailey

Leila is a handmade miniature original, one-of-a-kind cat art doll, hand painted and hand sculpted in paperclay by artist Max Bailey.

This is Leila. She is a Norwegian Forest tabby-and-white angel kitten, who is the guardian angel of all sleeping kittens.

Every kitten is an angel, and every kitten is watched over by an angel. You may never have seen Leila, but if you hear the flutter of wings, and feel a tiny breeze, it is likely she is near.

Leila brings sweet dreams to sleeping kittens, dreams of puffy white clouds, blue skies, and lovely warm days. She is the reason sleeping kittens look like they are smiling.

Leila’s robe is pale orange, and she touches her paws together when she thinks happy thoughts.

Daphne, miniature American Shorthair angel tabby cat art doll, handmade original, one-of-a-kind kitten by artist Max Bailey

Daphne is a handmade miniature original, one-of-a-kind cat art doll, hand painted and hand sculpted in paperclay by artist Max Bailey.

This is Daphne. She is an American Shorthair angel tabby kitten with round yellow-green eyes that are ever watchful and alert.

It is Daphne’s job to help kittens who have climbed up into trees and have no idea how to get down. Since Daphne can fly, she floats up into the trees, and calmly gives instructions on climbing down backwards instead of trying to go down head first.

Ever caring and concerned, it is Daphne’s mission to protect and guide her little charges, especially those who get into mischief, or get it in their heads to do naughty things they shouldn’t do.

Daphne’s robe is pale orchid and flows gracefully around her body.

Angie, miniature angel tabby cat art doll, handmade original, one-of-a-kind kitten by artist Max Bailey

Angie is a handmade miniature original, one-of-a-kind cat art doll, hand painted and hand sculpted in paperclay by artist Max Bailey.

This is Angie. She is an angel tabby kitten with a sweet face and earnest yellow eyes.

Angie sings in the Angel Kitty Choir, which is a great distinction among angel kittens. With clear and bell-like voices, the angel kittens make beautiful music. At least it sounds quite beautiful to other angel kittens, who are often urged to sing along.

When Angie isn’t singing, it is her job to watch over the heavenly catnip gardens. If the plants need water, Angie calls upon the clouds to rain on them, and if weeds are growing, Angie swoops down to pull them out and move them to another place.

Angie’s robe is soft yellow, and flows around her kitty self. She clasps her paws together, and always does her very best.
